In the heart of a Caribbean island, the Taínos observed how the sun marked the passage of time and how water, a vessel of memory, constantly adapted and transformed. In their rituals, the conaos was more than just a seat; it was a symbol of elevation and timelessness.

ACRONO seeks to capture a state of temporal suspension, resisting the ephemeral and establishing a dialogue between different eras and geographies. This project explores the duality in contemporary furniture design, merging traditional craftsmanship with advanced technology.

The wood, treated using a technique inspired by Japanese yakisugi, is elevated on a bronze structure, transforming a piece that symbolizes the past into a contemporary expression.
